Contact

If you are a new client or have a book/author inquiry, please use this contact form providing me with information I need to help you and possibly schedule a first appointment. If you seek therapy, note that I am licensed in Maryland to counsel Maryland residents when using telehealth, which is how I currently conduct sessions. If you are out of state, consider coaching, though it is not insurance reimbursable.

You will find useful information on this website, including book/self-help recommendations. Thank you for visiting this page, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Please provide the type of appointment you need, the ages of those involved, your email and confidential cell phone. This facilitates communication and prevents unnecessary back and forth. Maryland residents wishing to use insurance for counseling, please tell me what insurance plan or employee benefits you wish to use — on this contact form, please.

Accepted in-network at BC/BS, CIGNA and Johns Hopkins Employer Health Plan (EHP) which means employees or family members from Sibley Memorial and Suburban Hospitals, Howard County General Hospital as well as Johns Hopkins Healthcare employees can access my services affordably.

  • Please do not submit medically sensitive or private information via email or form. It is best to call.
  • Confidential messages are generally left on one's cell phone
  • I understand that I'm responsible for understanding any limitations of insurance benefits and that some professional services may not be insurance reimbursable. If I wish to use EAP benefits, I will indicate so here and realize that some problems/concerns aren't suited to EAP but will need longer sessions with insurance or private pay.
  • Please review the insurance plans I accept, found on the "Locations, Fees & FAQ’s" link.

    In your message, please include:

    — the ages/school grades of children and any concerns/diagnoses, if applicable

    — insurance plan or if you intend to pay privately

    — a brief snapshot of what brings you to counseling and who may have referred you
